Exfoliating once a week can help peel off dead skin. Meanwhile, avoid steaming processes (i.e. hot showers), as it can strip off the fatty acids your skin needs.
5. See a dermatologist.
Take the guesswork out of skincare and invest in a consultation with a dermatologist. This is especially important if you're struggling with acne, blackheads and whiteheads. See your dermatologist before the condition worsens and becomes harder to treat.
6. Go light with makeup.
Avoid pore-clogging products like certain liquid foundations or other products that feel heavy. For light cover-up, choose powder over foundation. And don’t forget to remove makeup before you go to sleep so your skin can breathe. The earlier you clean your face, the longer your skin can breathe.
