Welcome to the Active Pathways Early Childhood Centre. I am pleased to have the opportunity to provide you with an overview and insight into everything that Active Pathways has to offer. Active Pathways is a small and unique childcare setting that provides nurturing and loving care in a professional manner.

Active Pathways offers a stimulating and safe environment where your child will be educated and nurtured. I understand it is difficult to balance all the commitments and responsibilities of modern day living. When your child is at Active Pathways, can you be assured that they are being loved and taken care of in much the same fashion that you and your family would provide. I have been in the education industry for over 12 years, and the childcare industry for eight years. I have a PhD in Media and Communications and I have lectured at the University of Southern Queensland in a range of subjects including Human Development: Childhood to Adolescence. I have extensive knowledge of childhood development, and on a daily basis, with my team, thrive to meet the physical, intellectual, social and emotional needs of the children in our care. It is my belief that children learn best in a supportive, non-threatening, and natural environment. At Active Pathways, your child will learn something new every day, and will also learn important values such as sharing, responsibility, independence, justice and ethics.
