Our commitment to regional cooking sees a combination of tandoori flavours from the north, classics from my native Chennai and seafood dishes from Goa and other coastal towns.

About the Chef
Chef Kumar established his second venture AKI’s in 2003. His food philosophy centres around fresh produce, understanding the characteristics of spices, and staying true to the authenticity of dishes and their regional nuances. Kumar’s first restaurant was ABHI’s in North Strathfield now celebrating 25 years.

Kumar has shared his knowledge and love of Indian food through a variety of media platforms and culinary partners including; Masterchef Australia, Gourmet Safari, Accoutrement, Sydney Seafood School.
