Animal Referral and Emergency Centre provides daytime specialist services and overnight and emergency or critical care for your pet.

AREC staff provide high quality care when illness or injury occurs, or if your pet needs continuing after hours care. AREC staff are trained in referral, specialty and emergency management to deal with any situation pet care demands.

AREC's specialist services currently include surgery and dermatology, AREC are looking to extend the range of daytime specialist and referral services offered.

Emergency support is critical to the survival of your pet and its future quality of life. Our highly trained staff aim to provide the best possible initial and continuing care available. All visit records are returned to your veterinarian and AREC may consult with, or refer you to, specialist staff at other facilities to ensure the best care for your pet. AREC provide on-site laboratory services, radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, CT imaging, minor and major surgery, urgent care and critical care where needed.
