The aim of Art Classes Brisbane is to provide quality art classes in a relaxing and creative environment. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced artist you are welcome. Classes are 3 hours in duration and held in our funky studio surrounded by exotic tropical gardens. A free healthy morning or afternoon tea is provided and students are welcome to use the painting trays, water pots, art tools and old rag clothes provided by the tutor.
Come for the fun, come for the creativity, come to mix with like-minded people or come to relax and enjoy the ambience.

Art Classes Brisbane has been in operation for 8 years. It is a small business, owned and operated by myself (Debra Pickering) and my husband Greg Pickering. My background in art started 30 years ago when I graduated from Griffith University as a Graphic Designer. After working for 15 years as a Graphic Designer and using many mediums to complete work for clients I now draw on these skills to teach art students what I know. I have also drawn and painted for 30 years, exhibiting and selling paintings around Queensland. Greg is my right-hand man and helps with all the behind the scene jobs.
