PEST INSPECTIONS
Pest Inspection for termites, wood decay and borers is carried

out separately to the Building Inspection, even though the

information obtained from the inspection often overlaps with the

findings of the building inspection. Typically it is leaks and

water that play a major role in promoting and supporting pest

activity.

Pest Inspection is a visual inspection of all accessible areas

of a home for evidence of pest activity and damage. The

inspector will visually inspect the interior and exterior of the

building including any accessible roof cavities and sub-floor

areas.

BUILDING INSPECTIONS
The purpose of a building inspection is to make you aware about

any significant damage to the building and needs to be carried

out by a professional, a licensed building inspector.

The consultant will inspect following areas:

Interior/Exterior of the building
Roof and Under-floor Space
Roof exterior (subject to health and safety regulations)
Garage, carport and garden shed
Small retaining walls (ie. non-structural)
Steps, fencing, paths and driveways


THERMAL IMAGING
Thermal imaging is used for all of our inspections, finding

pests and unusual temperatures, locating dampness and other

problems which can not be detected by the naked eye.

Thermal Imaging helps in the detection of:

Water and Cold air infiltration
Excessive moisture in building materials
Stud / Joist / Beam / Rafter placement and structure
Insulation gaps, insufficient and unevenness
Electrical drops, panels, breakers, switches and wire

connections
Heating and cooling duct placement, insulation, air leaks
Pipe location
PLUMBING AND DRAINAGE INSPECTIONS
Plumbing inspection will report you with any issues before

buying your property, which may save you with costly repairs

after you have purchased the property.

Plumbing and drainage inspection should be tested by a fully

qualified and appropriately licensed plumber using specialised

equipment to determine their true condition, compliance and

safety aspects.
