The Australian Automobile Association in Canberra advances the interest of all road users across Australia to ensure land transport networks are safe and sustainable, and that the cost and access to transports is fair.

Currently around 1.200 Australians are killed each year and around 30.000 are seriously injured on the roads. Australia's National Road Safety Strategy aims to reduce the annual numbers of both deaths and serious injuries on Australian roads by at least 30%. However the analysis made by the Australian Automobile Association Canberra shows that this goals is in danger of not being achieved.
