After completing a carpentry apprenticeship and spending 10 years as a residential subcontract carpenter, Chad obtained his builders license and set up Australian Carpentry Contractors Residential/Commercial PTY.LTD. in 2008. Since then ACC has developed into a reliable residential and commercial building/carpentry team consisting of more than 15 full time staff.

Australian Carpentry was established in 2008 by Chad Schomberg on Sydney's Northern Beaches, where he grew up. Chad took on one apprentice and set about teaching him the skills of the trade but also the values important to Chad; the highest standard of quality work, with a friendly but professional service. Word spread and the business was built on happy clients' referrals.

In 2010, Australian Carpentry Contractors launched into commercial carpentry services, . The successful reputation for professional work followed into this commercial operation and today the company employs a solid team that includes carpenters and apprentices, project managers, draftsmen and estimators. Our commercial clients are Ichor Constructions, Lipman, Lend lease and Cockram.
