Balance Diet Centre was founded by Clare Evangelista (APD) in Mackay, Qld, in 2001. In 2008, she moved the practice to her hometown of Darwin and in 2012 she opened more clinics in Brisbane.

Balance Diet Centre shares premises with Balance Podiatry in all its locations. This gives it's patients the unique opportunity to access team-based care from dietitians, podiatrists and diabetes educators all in one location, which improves health outcomes and also saves patient's time.
