Basiloco eatery is the outcome of the vision of an Italian family originally from Sardinia, who moved to beautiful Byron Bay.

At Basilico, our mission is to make a original Italian kitchen, inspired by the flavours of our delightful island: the Italian region of Sardinia. Sardinia, the second largest island in the Mediterranean, is situated in the middle the Mediterranean, only 20 km south of the French island of Corsica. Sardinian cuisine has numerous dishes in common with Spanish cuisine, because to Spanish dominance from mid 1300 to 1700. Sardinian joined the Italian kingdom when it was conceived in 1861. Catalan (a Spanish lingo) is still spoken to date in few cities in the north east of Sardinia.

Basiloco have an awesome variety of food and beverage choices and packages which we modify particularly for you and your group. Our team can cheerfully accommodate and cater for a range of dietary requirements including Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegetarian and Vegan. Our space can cater for 20-100 guests in a shared and public space, or if you require complete exclusivity.
