Border Heating & Cooling Pty Ltd was first established on 29 March 1994, from very basic beginnings. Located in a leased shed in a small industrial estate, the company at that stage employed 3 staff. Over the next couple of years we slowly but surely built up our client base, concentrating on customer service and building a strong builder base.

We received plenty of support from one of our main suppliers, namely Carrier Air-Conditioning Corporation. Today, we also offer air conditioning and heating products from AHI-Carrier, Brivis Climate Systems, Daikin, Toshiba, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu, Haier and Sealey / Braemar. Also offered are Noirot Panel Heaters and Cyclovac Ducted Vacuum Systems, as well as the amazing range of Real Flame Gas Log Fires.

Every year, we have managed to grow the business and expand the range of equipment that we can supply and install for our customers. We have since expanded into bigger and better premises located in central Wodonga. We currently employ 14 full time and part time staff, including a full time electrician, many of whom are long time employees. We also have a number of sub contractors who carry out various jobs within the company.

Our main focus is to promote a good after sales relationship with our customers by dedicating our service department to providing regular preventative maintenance, fast breakdown service and warranty agent agreements on behalf of our main suppliers. Our service department is staffed by fully qualified refrigeration mechanics, which specialise in diagnostics and repair techniques

Commercial Air Conditioning EquipmentOver the last few years we have developed strong business relations with a number of local building companies who regularly contract us to supply and install heating and cooling systems in their new homes, as well as their display homes. Most of the projects we undertake are booked in advance, as we are not a seasonal type company anymore – we continue to be busy all year round, with a lot of forward orders on the books.

In 2005, we diversified into the light commercial end of the market, which works very well for us. The ratio between our domestic and commercial business is approximately 60% domestic and 40% commercial.
