About Bowls WA
The organisation is governed by a set of Rules to cover the management of the organisation, a set of By Laws to cover the game and Policies on a wide range of matters. All of these documents can be found in the Governance section.
The organisation is managed by a Board of up to 10 members and has 5 full time and 1 part time staff. A comprehensive Committee structure reports to the Board.
The primary responsibilities of the organisation include: • Promote and advance the sport of bowls in WA • Conduct State championships • Conduct pennants (inter - club) competition • Manage WA State teams • Train coaches and umpires • Provide assistance to clubs with management issues • Represent the sport in the public forum.
