Canberra Repertory Society, founded in 1932, is one of the oldest established theatre companies in Australia, with more than 460 major productions to its credit. Rep is based at and manages Theatre 3, a well-equipped theatre with seating capacity of 188 for its own use and for external hire.

Rep stages six major productions each year and provides Canberra theatre goers high quality and varied works.

Rep also offers opportunities for people to extend their interest in theatre and to develop their skills through participation in all aspects of theatre production.

In addition to our major productions, Rep STUDIO gives members the chance to take part in play readings or workshops.

Many members who first developed their skills at Rep have moved on to careers in professional theatre. Rep also offers members a wide range of social activities.
