In the early 1990’s Damian Canny started the business alongside business partner Lachy Watson, with the purpose of renovating houses and selling them on a speculative basis. As the business developed, our reputation as a credible and innovative renovation builder spread across Melbourne which resulted in us receiving an influx of briefs from new clients. In the early 2000’s Canny brought the design function in-house, employing a team of twelve architects, interior designers and drafts people which led to the completion of our first custom designed and built home in 2003.

Since then, Canny has grown to a team of 50 professionals, who work collaboratively on each project to ensure a seamless process with no surprises along the way.
