OUR HISTORY
Ranbuild has been supplying steel buildings to the Australian and world markets for more than 60 years. Ranbuild had its beginnings in Newcastle in 1949, manufacturing specialized horizontal grain sheds, and bulk handling equipment known as “Farmatic”.
In the early 70’s the business became a public company , eventually being sold to the late Kerry Packer. The building side of the business later became R&N Steel Buildings which then became Ranbuild. In 2004 Ranbuild was sold to Lysaght Building Solutions Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of BlueScope Steel, one of Australia’s largest and most respected building companies with an outstanding record of quality, service and reliability.
Since it's conception, Ranbuild have produced tens of thousands of buildings for Australian households, farms and industry.
Along the way, Ranbuild have also exported countless numbers of buildings to Asia, the Pacific and Middle East. The company has maintained a steady growth with solid assets, assuring it's customers of service and reliability for the future.
OUR SYSTEMS
Ranbuild has developed a highly sophisticated and integrated design, quoting, building order and data processing system RDS. This proprietary software system prepares customer quotations, architectural drawings and detailed engineering drawings quickly and accurately so there are no hidden surprises on your quote or in your design.
A leading edge software system, RDS is quick and efficient, with in built flexibility to fulfill custom designs or option up any of our standard shed range.Our systems enable the production of accurate material lists and purchase orders and electronically places orders for manufacture without error or delay.
RDS is live ensuring all our building designs and data records are continuously under review and updated frequently.
OUR RANGE
While we have a diverse range of steel sheds and buildings in our 'standard' range, the benefits of using a steel portal frame as the platform for all our sheds is it's really simple to make design changes without compromising on strength. This in built flexibility means most of our shed designs are modular and can readily accept retro fit additions or modifications in the future for minimal cost.
