Chirnside Park Veterinary Clinic was established and opened in 2001 by Dr Roslyn Fleay. Ros realised the need for a small animal practice with an after hours emergency service to cater for the people and pets of the Yarra Ranges. It soon became apparent that the practice was more in demand than what was first anticipated, and quickly became a 2 vet, 3 nurse practice within 3 months. With growing clientele covering pet and breeder clients alike, a 3rd vet was hired after only 24 months to keep up with a high customer demand. In 2004, 2005 and 2006 the clinic won the Lilydale & Yarra Ranges Business Awards for Professional Services and in 2007 we were inducted into the Hall of Fame. Since then the clinic has grown into a 5 vet, 8 nurse and 2 kennel-hand practice, servicing clients from near and far including interstate breeders from ACT, NSW and Tasmania.

We strive to further improve our knowledge and understanding of the ever-changing medical and surgical fields to better help your pet in their time of need. We offer our clients a wide range of medical and surgical options to combat reproductive problems and improve fertility.

From a broken bone, to a life threatning heart condition, our new digital x-ray machine will help us diagnose the problem.

Kidney disease, heart problems or pregnancy diagnosis. Our top of the range ultrasound is another of our many instruments to help us help your pet.

Your pets will have a higher chance of being reunited with you if they happen to go wandering.

-Surgery
With a high surgery case load at our clinic we have a vast surgical experience ranging from routine desexings, to caesareans, to delicate eye surgeries.

-Consultations
Annual health check, nail trims or "Fluffy is just not right", our vets will take you into a private room to discuss your pets needs.

-Pathology
We have the latest blood machines, 10-minute diagnostic snap tests, faecal parasite diagnostics, microscopic assessment for blood, skin and ear samples, as well as progesterone testing for breeding purposes.
