At Day Care of Auz we realise the face of child care and early education is changing. Parents are looking for curriculum which will develop their child to be School ready.

With the introduction of Prep into the school curriculum, many parents have been facing some confusion.

At Day Care of Auz, staff and management realise parents are looking for a prep based curriculum for their children, however they find the constraints of working and travelling in and out of town frustrating with prep being only school hours.

Our new curriculum will be aimed at ensuring your child will be school ready.

Ensuring the children will want to learn.

The children will be engaged in many experiences where they will be learning Numeracy, Literacy, Science, Reading and Writing skills. The children will be given the opportunity to be equipped with the skills needed to progress into year one and on into their futures.

Activities within our curriculum will have the children learning phonics, letter recognition, formation and sounds, number recognition, counting concepts, adding and subtracting, measurements, learning health and nutrition concepts, science concepts, logical and lateral thinking and general knowledge about the world and environment around them.

Our programs will be individualised and based on the children’s needs and interests. As we have been basing our current pre-school curriculum on the Governments Pre-school curriculum guidelines, we will continue to base our curriculum on both the Sate Pre-school and the new Early Years curriculum guidelines to ensure when children graduate from our Auz life Program they will be given the opportunity to be school ready.
