Instigated some years ago as a natural progression in Dean's lifestyle, Dean Guthrie Landscape Design and Construction evolved largely as a result of an increasing ground swell of interest by the general public and commercial businesses.

After training and learning with one of Tasmania's leading landscapers in the late 1980's and early 1990's embarking on a career in landscaping combined with time spent in landscaping tutoring and extensive overseas travel.

The purchase of 2.2 hectares of pasture behind Ulverstone and subsequent construction of a dwelling on the hinterland proved the catalyst for the implementation and establishment of Dean's home garden. Fifteen years of work later (and still ongoing) all the experience and knowledge Dean Guthrie Landscape Design and Construction was realised.
