Ellwaste commenced trading in 1984 with 1 front lift vehicle and 50 bins to grow today to be one of the largest privately owned waste management Companies in Rural Victoria servicing the Northern half of the State and Southern NSW.

Our main office is situated in Cohuna with depots in Echuca, Mildura and Swan Hill. We employ a total of 50 full time and 25 part time employees and operate a fleet of 15 side loaders, 6 front lift, 1 rear loader, 5 roll on roll off trucks and trailers, 2 B Double trucks, 4 landfill compactors, 5 excavators, 1 scraper, 5 vans and various other pieces of equipment.

In 1985 we were successful in obtaining the contract for what was known as the Shire of Rochester before amalgamation. We currently hold contracts with six shires: Gannawarra, Wakool, Murray, Swan Hill, Loddon & Campaspe servicing all towns and numerous rural runs within that area.

We operate a very comprehensive workshop and engineering facility at our Cohuna Depot that enables us to service and maintain our fleet of vehicles in top condition and to manufacture all our own bins and make any other relative repairs.

Our Echuca Depot provides the Company with a state of the art recycling facility accepting large quantities of Paper, Cardboard, Plastics etc, from a broad area of Northern Victoria and southern NSW. It also houses our Liquid Extraction Plant and Plastics Granulating equipment as well as providing Depot facilities for our Echuca based fleet.
