Company Director John Blankenstein, completed his apprenticeship in Plumbing and Gas fitting in the mid 90’s. John interest in the natural resource management resulted in John enrolling in university where he later graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science, specializing in Water Resource Management. Today the company has developed to provide services to the domestic market, commercial areas, government, health and education.

Environmental Plumbing Solutions aims to operate and promote a safe working environment for its employees, contractors and clients alike. The company operates within a comprehensive safety management system that complies with AS/NZS 9001:2000 and promotes a healthy and safe work environment through continued development and education.

Environmental Plumbing Solutions will work in consultation with all workers to:

-Ensure clear and concise information to all workers, and visitors to the workplace regarding health and safety

-Develop and maintain a safe work environment and system of work practices that complies with relevant health and safety legislation

-Establish measurable objectives and targets for health and safety

-Provide adequate mechanisms within the company for critical development to ensure continuous improvement aimed at elimination of work-related illness and injury

-Establish a risk management process and ensure consistency with the nature of the workplace activities and scale of health and safety risks

-Provide appropriate health and safety training to all workers

-Provide a consultation process to ensure workers are included in the decision making processes impacting on workplace health and safety

-Conduct periodical and ongoing systematic audits to identify and eliminate and/or control those conditions or work practices potentially harmful to workers

-Personal health and safety is the responsibility of ALL workers and is an integral part of every activity we perform. No task is satisfactorily completed unless it is achieved without accident or risk to personal health and safety of its workers
