Erciyes Restaurant established nearly 20 years ago. Erciyes started to serve its customers as a small take-away shop. As years past, Saracoglu family decided to extend its small take-away shop to a restaurant and a take-away place, as Erciyes started to become very popular in Surry Hills – Redfern area. In early 2006, the Restaurant renovated and extended its seats to 150. Even though the capacity extended it is still highly recommended to book in advance on Friday and Saturday evenings if you intend to catch the belly dancing shows. However, early birds are usually able to find seats on weekends.

The Restaurant changed hands a few times over years but always remained in the same family. Now, original owner’s son, wife and his brother run the business. Erciyes Restaurant also opened its second business in Coogee, however it was sold to focus on its core business, Erciyes Restaurant in Surry Hills.

We cater for birthdays, engagement parties, hens nights, bucks parties, Christmas parties, corporate dinners, special days or simply a fun night out or quite dinners and lunches (Sunday to Thursday)!

Friday and Saturday at 8.30 and 9.30 there are live belly dancers! Also we can arrange a belly dancer for you if you would like to have your party on other nights/days.

We caters for local customers who feels like staying in or simply grab a bite. Common scenario is to order your take-away and rent a movie from the next door while your meal is prepared for you.

Passing customers who stops by to grab a take-away. Due to the location of the restaurant, customers usually stop by on their way to beach, picnic or home!

When our customers do not feel like walking they simply enjoy the benefit of free home delivery to surrounding neigbourhoods (call us to find out if we deliver to your neighbourhood).
