Michael Ganly - The man behind Everything Automotive

'I am actually a third generation watchmaker' Michael says. 'My great-grandfather started the family business Hepworth Jewellers in 1948 and when I left school at 16 my grandfather taught me the watchmaking trade.'
Michael continued to work in the family business with his arents for 5 years after leaving school before deciding to start a mechanical apprenticeship.
'I loved cars, I would come home from the jewellery shop and work till midnight on my own drag car or a mate's car,' he says.

Michael explains his grandfather used to restore old English motorbikes and is sure his own love of all things mechanical (whether it be clocks, watches, bikes or cars) came from his grandfather.

"We pride ourselves on good workmanship. My grandfather always taught me there are no shortcuts and you always do the job properly."
