GHIFY's Story - Creative Custom Build Recycled Furniture Designs. Australian award winning furniture maker and designer.
Our passion is in creating handmade furniture from these beautiful old homes and save them from the fire pit and landfill because they deserve a second life as recycled furniture. Our mission is to demonstrate that recycled houses can be repurposed into functional furniture but also beautiful works of art that deserve to continue their legacy as an adored furniture piece that will last for generations.
We now use our role as furniture makers to champion the use of an environmentally responsible material for building bespoke furniture. It became a mission to share the benefits of using recycled Queenslander houses with those around us through our work. Our aim is to empower and encourage our customers to select this material by demonstrating that with the right design, superior craftsmanship and creativity, old Queenslander houses can be transformed into equally beautiful and functional furniture. Since then, we’ve been using sustainable materials and superior craftsmanship to build beautiful and meaningful furniture.
We have made it our mission to salvage as many Queenslander houses as we can to repurpose them into beautiful and functional furniture so they can take their place of honour once again in our homes.
