About Gresford Bowling Club
Gresford Bowling Club is nestled just south of the World Heritage Listed Barrington Tops National Park and between the beautiful Paterson and Allyn River Valley’s.
The Club first formed in 1953, with the first bar being situated in the old tennis shed.
In 1968, the centenary for the School was held with Bill Sellens & Bernie Doosey playing a Poker Machine on the back of a truck in the parade.
The present clubhouse was officially opened in May, 1968.
Today Gresford Bowls, Sport & Recreation Club offers a great family and social atmosphere, with an in-house Club Restaurant, Entertainment, Function and Bowls facilities. More importantly, Gresford Bowls, Sport & Recreation Club works hard to serve the local community and looks forward to many positive events for 2010.
