Jacob Butler is a buyers’ agent and the founder of premium agency Hunter Gather. With a proven track record in the real estate industry, he worked in both sales and buyers’ advocacy for leading agencies including Ray White and Cohen Handler before starting his own business in 2020.

Jacob’s passion for property began at a young age, when he developed a keen interest in the market and its trends. He spent two years working in Papua New Guinea managing a residential facility in Port Moresby, before returning to Brisbane and entering the real estate industry as a sales agent. Developing his skills in this area, Jacob then moved into buyers’ advocacy, taking the knowledge he had gleaned from sales roles. His experience in both sales and advocacy offers a unique, holistic view of the industry that few others have, giving him an edge in the crowded market and allowing him to get into the mindset of the vendor.
