Master Painters & Decorators Australia was founded in 1911 as an independent not for profit organisation. Memberships are available for people who are registered as painting contractors with registered practitioner supervisors in Western Australia. They are all business owners and most employ other qualified trades people and/or apprentices.

We support out members by:
- Helping them stay up-to-date with changes to legislation, new technologies and products, and other relevant information. this helps them provide consumers with a more professional and knowledgeable level of service
- Providing them with assistance in business areas such as marketing and business planning
- Offering technical support and a inspection and mediation service
- Helping them to find a suitable apprentices and qualified tradespeople to employ
- We advocate on behalf of the industry to government policy makers and other stakeholders.

The mission of Master Painters & Decorators Australia in Victoria Park is to be the voice of the Painting & Decorating Industry, by promoting professional and ethical business practice amongst member and non-member alike, and ensuring the standards of the trade are maintained at an acceptable level through appropriate training and education.
