Mr Morris Ritz graduated from Witwatersrand University in South Africa in 1982 with a degree in medicine and the Sonya Walker Prize in physiology. He went on to pursue post-graduate studies in plastic and reconstructive surgery, gaining a fellowship with honour from The Colleges of Medicine of South Africa in 1990. Mr Ritz then spent a year at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne as a microsurgery research and hand fellow.
