National Railway Museum offering Australia's biggest railway museum taking you a tour into our railway history with more than 100 exhibits representing State, Commonwealth and private railway operator on the three main rail gauges use in Australia.

Move up into the cabs of huge steam engines, walk through beautiful carriages, enjoy free train rides and collective and educational displays.

It operates each Sunday and National Holiday from October to April(Inclusive), every day during school holidays in September and April, everyday from 26th December to the end of January school holidays.

Steam trains will depart between 11am and 4pm, roughly every hour or at frequencies varied according to demand.
