Our aim is to “use local and regional produce to deliver a wholesome, fine dining experience, without the Sydney price tag”.

Those visiting Nineteen23 can expect a regularly changing, seasonally-driven array of dishes that showcase produce from across the Blue Mountains and NSW Central Tablelands.

Nineteen23’s spacious 30-seat dining room is part of the heritage-listed Silvermere Guest House, built in 1923 which features views of the World Heritage National Park and the lights of Sydney.

These include the price of a two course a la carte meal that can be upgraded to a degustation or three course meal on the night. Our chefs
Our new head chef is Max McKinnon who has been working with us as a sous chef for 3 years. He has had previous experience at Tetsuya’s, Darleys and Solitary .

Our menus
Both a la carte and degustation menus are available for all restaurant sittings are available. Please note that on Saturday night a minimum 3-course a la carte or the degustation must be taken. A special children’s menu including a glass of soft drink, crumbed chicken or fish and chips or spaghetti bolognaise and ice cream is available on Saturday and Sunday lunch sittings.

Local produce
We are currently expanding our kitchen gardens recently constructing a hot house- in the coming months we hope that most of our herbs and vegetables will be sourced from there. Where possible we are sourcing our meat, fruit and other vegetables from the Blue Mountains regions.
