Founded in 1948, The North Tamworth Bowling Club has come along way. The newly refurbished Clubhouse offers members and visitors a quality Club experience whilst still maintaining the friendly personal touch that this Club is famous for. Hence “the friendly club”

The North Tamworth Bowling club has a Board of Directors of 7 persons who are responsible to the Club Members for the overall management, and determining of Club policy. They are elected annually by the members of the club and comprise of a chairperson, snr vice, junior vice, treasurer and 3 other directors. Board Policy is carried out by the Secretary Manager, including the responsibility for the official, legal and day to day operations of the Club.

North Tamworth Bowling Club's Facilities Include: Coffee Shop, Bistro open 7 Days, Big Screen TV, Takeaways, Function Room, BBQ area, ATM, KENO, TAB, Buses Welcome, Two first class greens, Raffles/Promos.

There are plenty of social bowls opportunities within the North Tamworth Bowling Club. The Ladies Bowls are played Tuesday afternoons in the winter and morning of the summer.

There are mixed bowls on Wednesday afternoon and again on Thursday (afternoon in winter and twilight in the summer) both played in Mufti.

There are social bowls in uniform on most Saturday afternoons and then a jackpot pair’s competition on Sunday mid afternoon.

All organized bowls games are followed by a great raffle.
