Parish McCulloch is a boutique law firm currently with offices in Melbourne and Darwin, as well as senior consultant lawyers working with us from other places around Australia.
However, what really differentiates Parish McCulloch from most law firms is our central philosophy and strategic vision.

Our collaborative organisational structure and use of the latest Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), especially “cloud-based” Internet systems, allow our lawyers right around Australia to work together to deliver outstanding results at affordable prices for Parish McCulloch clients.

All our lawyers are highly computer-literate. Together with our heavy emphasis on ICT and extensive research and practice resources, this facilitates a much higher ratio of fee-earning lawyers to ancillary clerical and secretarial staff than the vast majority of law firms. That allows us to keep costs down and deliver legal services at very competitive prices.
03. Harnessing the expertise of academic and senior semi-retired lawyers
Parish McCulloch offers flexible working conditions and remuneration arrangements designed especially to suit academic lawyers and semi-retired senior lawyers. They have extraordinary legal knowledge and experience, but the 70 hours per week “pressure cooker” work environment of the typical big city law firm no longer appeals.
04. Providing clinical legal education opportunities for law students
Because some of us are academic law teachers, we know that the best way for students to learn the law is through immersion in its practice: “learning by doing” as it is called. We aim to provide clinical legal education work placement opportunities for law students and new graduates who are required to undertake a 20-60 days practical law firm placement as part of the Practical Legal Training they must complete to gain admission to practice as a lawyer.
