Brett began operating as Brett Payton Cabinetmaker in May 1991. He door knocked and took on any job required. Replacing or planing a door, fixing a step, building a pergola; just to get known.

His determination paid off. By November 1991 the partnership of B&S Payton Kitchens was formed with wife Sharon. The business moved to their first shed in McDougall Street, Toowoomba.

Brett’s passion is training and passionately shares his vast knowledge which he gained working originally with a Polish and German cabinetmaker. His first apprentice was indentured in December 1992.

Brett still has the opportunity to go on site regularly and provide one on one training with his staff.

In May 2008 Payton Kitchens relocated to 1a Freighter Avenue with better customer parking and access.

Our service includes design, manufacture and installation. We visit you at your own home and provide our innovative ideas supported with a free quotation.
