Tucked away on the former industrial Pier 8-9 in Walsh Bay, Pier 8 Cafe has been one of Sydney’s best kept secrets. With sweeping views of Sydney’s famous harbour and the ambience of the historic rocks it’s no wonder this waterside hub is fast becoming a favourite for locals. The combination of great coffee, water views, wholesome food and the relaxed staff is really what all the fuss is about.

And the food?

Wholesome, fresh and simple, therein lies the beauty. Not too much fuss really. There is a splash of Mediterranean in there as well that reflects our heritage. Our constantly evolving seasonal menu is created daily based on what we source fresh from the markets. As for our desserts… allow your eyes to dictate your order. A little tip… don’t miss the housemade muffins.

Here at Pier 8 we drink coffee every way we know. It is our pleasure to taste and test our coffee exhaustively and to brew our blends with only the very best equipment. There is nothing like the smell that lets you know you’ve got it right.

We are open for breakfast and lunch everyday from 7am to 3pm, as well as selected functions.
