Cafes in Europe are the heart of the local community. Places where people meet, connect and share. In the 1950’s, 60’s and 70,s Richmond was the heart of a new migrant community from Europe. They were eager to make a fresh start in a new country that was full of promise and prosperity.They brought with them a new understanding of hospitality based a genuine desire to share what they had with the people around them. A strong sense of community was an integral part of their culture and sharing was as natural as breathing. Today, we continue in this tradition.
