For more than 20 years the Royal India has been something of an institution in the city. From Members of Parliament to ex-patriot film stars, from families celebrating special milestones to canny groups of loyal fans occupying their weekly table, the Royal India has been a by-word for exceptional Indian Cuisine. And the special ingredients that draw these disparate groups are quite simple; exquisite food and exemplary service.

Owner Pali Chouhan and Manager Peter-John Booth serve up the finest of Northern and Southern Indian food with a special emphasis on Tandoori. The menu is extensive and provides a wide range of seasonal and traditional favourites. One speciality of the house is the Goat Curry, lightly spiced and served on the bone with fresh tomatoes and yoghurt.

The food is exquisite yet it is the staff that are the chief delight at the Royal India. Every smile is genuine and nothing is too much trouble. And that is why you had better ring ahead and book because tables are always at a premium at this friendliest and most appetizing of Perth’s restaurants.
