Southside Windows & Doors was established in 1992 and has been designing and manufacturing door and window solutions ever since. Southside Windows and Doors is a family owned and operated business servicing not just the Kingston area but the whole of southern Tasmania, building its reputation on quality, service and exceeding customer expectations.

With a team of highly experienced designers and tradesmen, we have established a reputation for delivering door and window solutions to builders, architects and home renovators that add something extra to the aesthetics of a building. Specialising in new window and door systems with a focus on energy efficient glazing solutions to meet modern day requirements, our design staff continue to innovate to suit our customers demanding needs.

Although historically we have provided high quality products for the residential housing market, our business has met our customer’s increasing expectations and we have been fortunate enough to work on some of Tasmania’s highest quality award winning architecturally designed homes.

Sliding Windows

Our sliding window is a full featured item, made in both standard sizes or made to customer specifications. Some advantages of sliding windows are great ventilation properties; ideal for areas where protruding sashes beyond the building is not an option (where walkways or decks are on the outside). The slim line frame is of a minimalist design so not to impede on view.

Awning Windows

Awning windows are one of our most popular products, available in single and double glazed and in our full range of Dulux powder coat colours. Awning windows add a slightly more modern flair over the sliding design, the continuous hinged top section allows you to achieve good ventilation while keeping rain and weather out. Again with a slim line design that architects and home owners find very appealing.

Hinged Doors
Our Hinged door collection makes for an impressive entrance to any home, with only the highest quality hardware available used on our doors makes for years of trouble free use. With a classic look and a range of configurations available including highlites and sidelites we can custom manufacture a solution for your needs.
