After 30 years of specialising in wholesale nursery production we now also have a online retail store!! check out our huge range of plants now available online delivered straight to your door. Retail customers are welcome to visit our nursery, by appointment only.
Tablelands Trees & Shrubs, provide a huge range of plants from larger deciduous & evergreen trees, through a broad spectrum of flowering & foliage shrubs to all the lovely little flowering alpines, perennials & groundcovers. You can expect a full range of plants suitable, not only for our area but for all cooler regions of Eastern Australia including Alpine, Southern, Central or Northern Tablelands & even areas of high country in Tasmania, Victoria & Queensland.
Tablelands Nursery is without a doubt growing in the highest and coldest area of any nursery in Australia. You can be assured that the varieties available will withstand the coldest Australian conditions. The nursery & garden is situated on a high plateau (around 1000 metres above sea level) on the dividing range between Cooma & the South Coast. It is a relatively high rainfall area with significant coastal influence but still very cold. Winter temperatures of minus 12 degrees C. are commonplace! The plants grown are selected & acclimatised to handle these sorts of conditions. We regard Canberra as a significantly warmer than our area!!
We are approximately 30 minutes drive east from Cooma, approximately 90 minutes drive from Canberra & a bit over 1 hour south from Braidwood. There are other scenic drives from the South Coast, from Goulburn & from Sydney.
