Terminus is a restaurant at The Flinders Hotel serving a fusion of African, French and Modern Australian cuisine. It has been awarded One Chef's Hat by The Age Good Food Guide 2013 and 2014. The owner Pierre Khodja was born in Algeria, grew up in the South of France and studied to be a chef in Paris. His life informs the French cuisine with interesting twists from Africa. A sophisticated fusion that is upmarket but certainly not overpriced. The wine list is extensive with a focus on wines from the Mornington Peninsula. Other bottles are from all over the world and perfectly match the gentle spiciness of the fusion cuisine. Terminus is a great place for a special occasion. This stunning fine diner has soft lighting, white-clothed tables and fresh flowers. Service is discreet and attentive. A complete dining experience whether indoors with an open fire or outdoors on the terrace.
