Australia’s Big Golden Guitar Tourist Centre, situated on the New England Highway in South Tamworth, NSW, the nation’s Country Music Capital, is open seven days a week, 9am-5pm. The Centre is closed on Good Friday, Anzac Day, Boxing Day and Christmas Day.

The Centre caters for all visitors, including wheelchair access, with one of the city’s most important and unique attractions, Country Music “The Gallery of Stars” Wax Museum.

Another fantastic asset to The Big Golden Guitar Tourist Centre is the addition of The Collectors Museum featuring Sir Donald Bradman. This is a fantastic museum not to be missed by the sporting enthusiast.

Visitors can relax with food and refreshments in the Golden Guitar Coffee Shop, browse through hundreds of Australian and Overseas country music CD’s and DVD’s, Tamworth Country Music Capital souvenirs and gift items.
