The Book Kitchen has evolved over the last 10 years into a relaxed foodie destination. Offering only the best, most fresh, (always) seasonal food, delivered with the utmost love & care. The menu house’s favourites & a consistent turnover of new and interesting additions (many of which become fast favourites)!

Run by Amelia & David Birch since February 2010, it’s plain to see their values of passion, genuineness, consistency & familiarity reinforced in everything at The Book Kitchen. With over 30 years of hospitality experience between them they have an innate understanding of creating honest food, using beautiful ingredients and being consistent.

The Book Kitchen is open every day for Breakfast & Lunch. We accept reservations on weekdays however it is not essential. For groups over 8 we recommend letting us know.

The Book Kitchen is a fantastic venue for an intimate party, wedding, corporate event, book launch or function. The space is available every night of the week to hire. We have a wide range of food + beverage options to choose from.

If you wish to join us on the weekend or a public holiday please give us a call approximately 30 - 45 mins before you intend to arrive. We will add your name to the waiting list and will endeavour to have a table ready for you when you arrive. Please be aware we are very busy on the weekends and you may still be required to wait a short time.
