Overview
Tiles are one of the oldest roofing materials, and for good reason. They are strong, durable, easy to replace and easy to produce. Unfortunately they are also brittle and their weight makes them subject to movement over time.

Most tile roofs in Perth are one of two types: clay or cement. Cement tiles are usually painted, and require repainting every 10-15 years. Clay tiles are usually unpainted and do not require coating.

A full tile roof restoration usually consists of the following:
- Replacing cracked tiles
- Ridge cap repair
- Flashing repair (where necessary)
- Pressure cleaning
- Repainting (where necessary)
