The Water Services Association of Australia was formed in 1955 as a non-profit organisation to foster the exchange of information between industry, government and the community, and to promote sustainable water resource management.

The Water Services Association of Australia in Docklands facilitates collaboration, knowledge sharing, networking and cooperation within the urban water industry. We can demonstrate success in the standardization of industry performance monitoring and bench-marking, as well as many research outcomes of national significance.

We are involved in a whole range of project ranging from unfunded voluntary projects, undertaken by a small group of interested members, to large international project that include members and non-members in some cases.

In addition, The Water Services Association of Australia in Docklands continues to provide members and the urban water industry with best practice national codes and standards. These are widely adopted by our members and have assisted in moving Australia;s water industry towards best practice in the creating of water and sewerage network infrastructure.
