Zakkia began from a passion for good design and with an aim to create quality products that can be enjoyed over a lifetime. Our products are designed in Sydney by Swedish-born Sara Lundgren and follow a clean and minimal Scandinavian design philosophy. All of our products are created to have multiple uses and are carefully handmade from high-quality raw materials for durability.

Zakkia is built around craftsmanship and the beauty of the handmade process. We are inspired by the raw materials we use along with the skills of our makers’ who carefully create every object by hand.

Each year we design two collections, building on our existing range of handmade products for the home. Our items are a blend of Scandinavian simplicity with a clean, monochrome base that works with mixed textures and blended with textural raw materials.

Each product in our range is made by hand, some are thrown on potting wheels while others are hand poured into moulds for consistency. Our range of ceramic kitchenware is hand produced in Northern Vietnam in a small ceramic village where our partners have been creating homewares for over 900 years, passing down their skills generation to generation.
