Plate 4 Plate is Zambrero’s way of providing food to those in need. With every burrito or bowl purchased, a meal is donated to someone in need. Since being formed in 2005 by Dr. Sam Prince, millions of meals have been provided to those living in poverty around the world through the Plate 4 Plate initiative. With our partners Rise against Hunger, an international hunger relief agency, we have provided millions of nutritious meals to disadvantaged communities across Africa, Asia and the Americas. Locally, Zambrero partners with Foodbank to fight hunger in Australia, providing a meal to Australians doing it tough with every purchase from our Grab and Go range.

How It Works

Burrito or bowl purchased

Every time someone purchases a burrito or bowl at any of our restaurants, Zambrero sends a nutritious meal to someone in need in the developing world via our distribution partner Rise Against Hunger.

Meal Packaged

Meals donated by Zambrero are packed, stored, and distributed by Rise Against Hunger around the globe, Primarily through school feeding programs. Zambrero customers can also get involved to pack meals at Zambrero's annual Meal Packing Day.

Meal Provided To Someone In Need
