The Websters Team are gearing up for a big year of tastings, dinners & events.. And we are very excited to announce our first event of the year – A Boilermaker Dinner with a World Class selection of whiskys & Feral Craft Beers. We invite you to join us on an international whisky expedition on Wednesday, 13th of February from 7pm. We will be showcasing 5 whiskys from across the globe, including THE YAMAZAKI, AUCHENTOSHAN, LAPHROAIG, BOOKERS & MAKERS MARK. Of course it wouldn’t be a Boilermaker event were it not for some outstanding Feral craft beers, including batch releases ‘Biggie Juice’ NEIPA, ‘Dark Matter’ Porter & ‘Watermelon Warhead’ – A sour German Wheat beer aged in Champagne barrels! To accompany the whiskys & beers, our multi-awarded Executive Chef Mark Cukeric will be pairing a 3 course dinner (Starter, Entree, Main) that will incorporate aspects of both the beer & whisky into your dining experience.

YAMAZAKI 12YR:

Yamazaki Whisky is Suntory’s flagship single malt whisky, from Japan’s first and oldest malt distillery, multi-layered with fruit and Mizunara aromas. The Yamazaki 12yr has won numerous awards over the years, ISC GOLD in 2003 & 2010, SWSC DOUBLE GOLD in 2009 & 2013 SWSC GOLD in 2014, & IWSC GOLD (BEST IN CLASS) 2011

AUCHENTOSHAN BLOOD OAK:

“We׳re not just being dramatic, our Blood Oak earned its name as the result of being aged in bourbon and red wine casks, giving it deep crimson hues. Part of our Global Travel Retail Exclusives range, it packs a punch of spice with notes of red fruit and ginger.”

LAPHROAIG SELECT CASK:

This Laphroaig is created from carefully selected casks of each of our key styles. Mostly, these are historic styles, with one notable addition: the heart of the spirit is drawn from a final maturation in American oak casks – rarely used for scotch whisky. With spirit selected by our master distiller from Quarter Cask, our PX Cask and Triple Wood (Oloroso sherry) and a final addition of 10 Year Old, it represents a subtle blending of peat, oak and sweetness.

BOOKERS BOURBON:

This Laphroaig is created from carefully selected casks of each of our key styles. Mostly, these are historic styles, with one notable addition: the heart of the spirit is drawn from a final maturation in American oak casks – rarely used for scotch whisky.
