Yoga teacher training in Bali at Power of Now Oasis means a full month of study, practice, and real transformation. Established in 2010, we're one of Bali's most established yoga and healing centres, with our own purpose built retreat centre on Sanur's beach: two eco-friendly bamboo shalas, a treatment room, a lounge, and a juice bar, set in a garden oasis on the white sand.
Students can stay at our own boutique accommodation, reserved for PONO guests, or choose anything from budget stays to five star hotels, all within a short walk of the studios. A course-only option, without accommodation, is also available.
The training covers all eight limbs of yoga across 27 days, with over 200 hours of contact teaching from our experienced head teachers, supported by guest lecturers in Ayurveda, prenatal yoga, anatomy, and Acro Yoga. As locals ourselves, we know the best spas, local healers, special spots, and everything else Bali has to offer.
We build real teaching confidence in both traditional Hatha and dynamic Vinyasa, alongside a foundation in Yin and Acro Yoga, working on sequencing, safe adjustments, and guiding pranayama and meditation from day one. Above all, our goal is to guide and inspire, giving you space for genuine self-discovery through yoga.
At the end of the course, you receive a Yoga Alliance accredited Power of Now Oasis Registered Yoga Teacher Certificate, and you're welcome to join our connected alumni community and register with Yoga Alliance if you choose to.
Preparing for a YTT in Bali takes more than booking a flight and packing a mat. We've put together everything you need to know before you arrive.
Location and Vibe
Our studio sits on a white sand beach beside a calm blue lagoon, with palm trees at the door. Sanur is known for its slower pace, and a genuine local community still surrounds the shala, with temples, markets, and good cafes close by. Streets here are safe and quiet, without the noise of Bali's busier tourist strips.
If you're looking for somewhere calm to deepen your practice through Bali yoga teacher training, or simply to unwind, Power of Now Oasis welcomes beginners and advanced practitioners alike, guided by experienced yoga teachers. Sanur sits at the meeting point of traditional and contemporary Bali, and our studio is more than a place to practice. It's somewhere to reconnect with the island and with yourself.
Eco-Friendly Studio
Our purpose built studios are something special. The main shala is built entirely from bamboo in the shape of a turtle, set in a garden overlooking the beach, with a juice bar, chill space, and treatment rooms downstairs, and an open air studio upstairs where you can see the ocean and feel the breeze.
Running since 2010, we've trained hundreds of students, at a time when many training courses are transient, hotel-based, or newly set up online. Here, you're training with a school with over a decade of consistent experience behind it.
Experienced Yoga Training Teachers
Our head teachers are committed to an authentic, high quality learning experience, and are present full-time throughout the training. Visiting faculty rounds this out with expertise in Ayurveda and Acro Yoga, backed by our full support team. We believe 26 days is the minimum needed to properly cover 200 hours of contact learning while leaving time to rest and enjoy Bali, so we run training every second month, keeping our teachers fresh. We are an accredited school meeting current Yoga Alliance standards.
A Personalised YTT Experience
We cap every course at 20 students, so you get real, personal attention throughout, properly answered questions, and lasting friendships with teachers and fellow trainees. Our certified teachers work to make your training high quality and genuinely memorable.
Unique RYT Student Experience
As an established, registered school with our own studio, we let YTT students attend public classes for two weeks before and after the course, free of charge. Graduates can also teach some public classes afterward, a great way to build confidence before teaching on your own.
Giving Back To The Community
Yoga in Bali has become increasingly commercial, but that's not who we are. We're proud to run as a semi non-profit, with our main purpose being support for the Sole Family Foundation, a local charity that holds a stake in the studio. Training with us means your fees also go toward something worthwhile in the local community.
Our 200-hour YTT is priced at $2,950, with an early-bird rate of $2,450 for select 2026 intakes. Current dates and details are here.
About Power of Now Oasis Yoga Teacher Training School
Power of Now Oasis was built to offer holistic care and, most importantly, to give back. Our main beneficiary is the Sole Family Foundation. Established in 2010, we run as a semi non-profit, holding to the authentic spirit of yoga.
We do our best to respect the laws of the land. We are a fully legal company, our Western staff hold proper work permits, and we pay tax as a responsible part of the expat business community. You won't have your YTT or retreat disrupted by immigration issues, so your time and money here are safe.
