About the Artwork:
One of my beautiful friends who comes from New Zealand wanted to give an original artwork to a friend returning to New Zealand to live. My friend decided a few years ago that she would only buy artwork off people she knew, so I was delighted when she asked if I would do a painting for her. She wanted something uniquely Australian, which the blue wren is. I wanted to do a piece with movement and character, as my friend has lots of fun and character.
