BUBS Sour Raspberry/Lemon Skulls 8oz

Sour Raspberry Lemon gummy skulls from BUBS. Two flavors on one Swedish skull. Raspberry on one half of the idea, lemon on the other. Sour on the outside. Soft chew in the middle. BUBS made these without gelatin and without other animal additives. The set is corn starch and water, not gelatin. That is why they can be vegan, gluten free and gelatin free. Sugar and glucose-fructose syrup build the body. Malic acid and sodium citrate give the tart snap and keep it even. Flavor carries raspberry and lemon. Color is listed as E150d. This is the BUBS skull people hunt for. Not a fish. Not a bottle. A little skull you pick up, show someone, then eat. Lemon is bright and citrus. Raspberry is darker and berry-sweet. Together they land as sweet-tart, not one note. The sour coat hits first. The fruit stays. BUBS built a name on skulls, ovals and foam. This one is the raspberry lemon pair that shows up in half-pound bags and pick and mix scoops. Same brand as the dizzy skulls. Same joke of a shape. Different flavor split: berry and citrus instead of a single fruit. Label claims on the pack and in the shop: free of high fructose corn syrup, free of GMOs, free of trans fats, natural color, gluten free, gelatin free, vegan. Ingredients: sugar, glucose-fructose syrup, water, corn starch, acidity regulators (malic acid, sodium citrate), flavor, colors (E150d). Allergen statement: this product was manufactured in a facility where peanuts, tree nuts (almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, pecans), soy, wheat and milk are used in the production of other products. The candy is labeled gluten free and vegan. Shared equipment still means traces are possible. Anyone with celiac disease or a nut, soy, wheat or milk allergy should read the statement and decide for themselves. Pour them into a bowl and the skulls stack like a tiny crowd. They work in a pick and mix, a movie pile, a Halloween bag or a Saturday candy haul next to ovals and bottles. Keep the bag sealed and cool so the sour coat stays sharp. Heat and open air dull the tart dust. Kids want the shape. Sour fans want the coat. People who skip gelatin want the recipe. One bag covers all three. BUBS. Raspberry. Lemon. Sour skulls with no gelatin and no animal additives. That is the whole pitch, and it holds.
